The Bridal Line from Manic Trout is now available!!

I am so excited to share the new line with you today!! The last push of putting it all online made me have to let go of some of my daily tasks such as blogging these past few days, but it was worth it because today the new Bridal Line debuts at Manic Trout!! You have seen the behind the scenes, heard about the inspiration and even been given peeks at the finished designs as time has gone by...but FINALLY you get to see the entire collection all together and finished!!

As you may have gathered, I was inspired to create this line after planning my own upcoming wedding. I of course want to have fabulous necklaces for myself and my bridesmaids (my sisters!) and when I began designing, I decided that if I was probably not the only bride in need of fabulous necklaces.

You will find in this new line both a collection of fabulous, one of a kind statement necklaces and three styles which can be beautiful accents for the bride or can be mixed and matched for your maids. With the Endless Love, No Ordinary Love and The Way You Look Tonight Necklaces, you can play with the colors and styles to give unique looks to each of your favorite ladies, while keeping a cohesive look between them.

As always I have named all of my new necklaces after songs, but the Bridal Line has a special twist...they are named after the top wedding songs of all time!

Wow, I am so happy (and exhausted, I was working until 4am last night finishing up the coding...I am too old for that!) to have the line announced that all I want to do is take a nap . There is much work to be done though, SXSW is in two weeks and as I am doing shows both weekends...well, I can't even think about that. Enjoy the new line!! Oh, and Happy Leap Year Day!

I am so excited for today, as the Vintage Scarf Bracelets are now available!! I waited a few extra days to release them as I decided to also debut a line of necklaces I designed before I moved to Texas and a twist on the Paris In The Springtime Necklace from a few years ago. I am in love with how much color is in the new designs and I hope you are just as excited about them as I am!! So with much delight, I give you three new lines of jewelry...

The newest line in the Manic Trout collection will debut on May 1st and I am super excited about it! The bulk of the line are necklaces that I personally have been living in for a couple of months now and I am quite smitten.

I even for the first time in years packed only those necklaces for my trip to Austin a couple of weeks ago, and they took me from brunch to picnics to nights out on the town with ease.

The secret to the awesomeness of these necklaces is that they are available in 6 lengths ranging from choker to extra, extra long. I personally have been wearing them in 3's and as I wear a lot of v necks, they fill in the neck area perfectly.

The basic pattern of silver chain and gold rings are alternated with metal dots, gemstone chips and colored pearls. They not only layer with themselves, but mix and match beautifully. However, the strands look just as perfect on their own as they do with a group.

Perfect for summer, essential for packing and elegant enough to be versatile...I am thrilled to be introducing these new designs to Manic Trout!

I'm staring to sound like a broken record, but I am over all this snow. I am by no means an "I hate snow, give me warm weather" type of gal...I was born in NH and chose to not only attend Syracuse University, but live up there for 7 years...that's how much I don't mind snow. But I do not like this blizzard every 4 days that dumps 10 inches at a time on us and makes life incredibly difficult type snow. So I have decided to just pretend that it's Spring. If you read yesterday's post, you'd know that this mentality back fired the other day when I wore a skirt without tights in 20 degree weather with 50 mph winds that resulted in my mooning my dog. After that, I modified my...oh its Spring! outfits a bit. I have however been wearing jewelry from my Early Spring line (released yesterday!!) and sometimes even pieces from my forthcoming Summer line...can we say a bit of a stretch on coral in February? I'll admit though that it has improved my mood a bit, and makes me feel a wee bit less overwhelmed with all these layers and heavy clothes that I have to swath myself in to prevent freezing to death as it was forecast to be -3 out last night. SO my advice to pretend its Spring...wear lots of bright colors and treat yourself to something fun...like really colorful jewelry!!

Holly Diamond Zsa Zsa Bling Ring in Limited Edition Peacock Blue

The spring/summer line should have been over and done with by now. I have a few random pieces finished completely...but nothing extra ordinary. I may be on to something that I started working on last night...but its not there yet. I have doodles of ideas that I am waiting for the materials to arrive in the mail for, but here I wait.

This is my job. I have to create and design if I feel like it or not. I do not wait for inspiration to strike in a flash when decides to, but sometimes you just can't force a WOW idea. I've been blog jumping for the past hour and am starting to feel a wee bit of creative fire course through my veins. Its amazing the amount of creativity out there...it's making me a little jealous at the moment.
