Have you ever noticed that when something is on your mind, you suddenly see things that remind you of your thoughts constantly? I keep having that happen...and I've been keeping a list. The theme today is Underwater Love...if you can remember watching Pee Wee's playhouse, then you may pretend its the word of the day and scream real loud whenever you hear it.

I tend to get stuck with music...I'll admit that I've listened to the Virgins "Rich Girls" and the Kooks acoustic version of "Always Where I Need To Be" countless times in the past few months. Recently however I have been stuck on two sassy ladies...

Beth Ditto

First is Beth Ditto from the Indie Band Gossip (formerly The Gossip)..."Listen Up!", "Standing In The Way Of Control" and most especially "Love Long Distance" have been dominating my itunes ever since I read about her in Paper this April...she's pretty f-ing awesome.

Eleanor Jackson of La Roux

The other lady of my fixation is half of La Roux...an English electropop and synthpop duo...and the entire self titled album is fantastic! "I'm Not Your Toy", "Cover My Eyes", "Fascination", "Armour Love" and "Quicksand" have stolen the spot light for me however.

Ok, now that I have shared with you I have to go get the box of board games out, because tonight is GAME NIGHT!!!!!
