Go Manic Trout!!!
I would rather be napping…
An odd thing happened on Sunday...I cam home from my side job (I am the general manager of the restaurant at a private club, which is open Fri-Sun...I'm only there about 35 hours per week) Sunday afternoon and decided to lie down on the couch for 5 minutes...this in its self is pretty rare unless I'm sick, or ahem, hungover. I was neither but had such a long weekend with three catered events that I organized and going out until the wee hours after work Saturday. Anyhoo...I woke up three hours later, feeling rather refreshed but a bit shocked that I not only napped, but did so on Fayes sheepskin! I had a supremely productive night in the studio and fell asleep on schedule between two and three am.
Since then, I have been wondering if I should follow my bodies demand for sleep and when I get really tired grab a nap instead of caffeine or exercising in a half-assed attempt to wake up. Oh dear god, am I getting old..is it all downhill energy wise from here????
I'm going to not think about that and instead I have decided that if I were going to start wishing for things it would to be in an ocean...preferably in a snazzy ball gown...
...now that sounds like a plan!
Helllloooooo Monday!!!
I am developing a love hate relationship…
I am obsessed with luscious blossoms of spring...I am also however developing a rash from sitting next to a bouquet of peonies and lilies right now...and the sneezing, itchy, dripping feeling is no picnic either! But alas, I will suffer on though because they simply are pretty.
My Nana used to always tell us "You have to suffer to be beautiful"...well I'm starting to think that you have to suffer for beauty in general. Overall, its worth a few sniffles to gaze at gorgeous flowers!
