I have no idea what it is about them, but shots of alleys, paths, roads and anything else with a similar orientation just rock my world..I'm an odd bird, I realize this...so here is my favorite image today that captures this element...

I bought this photo from honeytree on Etsy a few weeks ago and am so smitten that I have kept it in my studio so I can gaze at it when I work...

I adore where I live and would never move to France, but if I did, I would want to live on a street with pink lanterns.

I have become a huge fan of the photography by Irene Suchocki and have been looking for the perfect excuse to use this photo in a post and what better day then Valentines Day? I already have two of her photos on my new wall and know that I will collect more, as each time I see her stuff I want, NEED her work in my home, wonderfully inspiring to me! Enjoy the Love!

When I brought Faye out this morning I was greeted by warmer weather then we've had and snow melting all around me...I know its still early, but when I stumbled upon the Spring Colors photo on Etsy I started to get that itch...the "I am so sick of ice and snow, bring me blossoming trees now!" feeling. If it stays warm out, Shanley and I are taking Faye for a walk this afternoon, yay!

Spring Colors by Lisa Burch (which I am ordering in notecards, and so excited about...as I LOVE notecards!)

I have a thing for photography...which if you are a regular reader here, you a well aware of this thing, which kind of borders on an obsession, but whatever...anyway...I have been accumulating prints again and hung up a bunch of them last night, yay!  I am also pleased to say that I eyeballed the hanging of all of these prints...and I really like how close they are together, so I am going to rearrange the wall at the end of the bed too...I'll show you when its done...the frames are back ordered.

I am also noticing that my bed has become a bit pillow crazed...oh my...new pillows this year mean more fluff and my bed is starting to look out of a Victorian novel...how did that happen????

There is no better feeling then a snow day...you are giving the gift of time essentially and tonight the restaurant has closed due to the snow so I have a Snow Night!  The most logical solution as anyone who works in a restaurant knows, would be to gather a group of friends later on tonight and trek around to all of the bars in the village...one of the very best perks of living in a village is that you are not kept inside in bad weather...so hopefully this plan works!  Before all of the merriment however I am going to sit down at my jewelry desk and put some serious work into the new line...yay for snow!

I know, I know I have been a naughty absent blogger, but I have never worked as hard in my life as I did in the past 5 weeks and being a major workaholic...that's a lot of working. I am really glad the holidays are over or I would have had a mental breakdown...seriously. Everything is pretty much getting back to normal as of today...although I still have to finish cleaning my studio...and I was in desperate need of some errand running, which I finally got to today...like grocery shopping and dropping off the dry cleaning.

I also have had a chance to do some image browsing online and tonight I may actually get to blog jump, which I have not been able to do for weeks! I just bought some prints from Etsy too, as I have such a weakness for photographs and as I have sold a few paintings on manictrout.com (gasp, I know!!!) I have some wall space open. Thought I would share one of them with you, as its just too pretty to keep all to myself.

I have also been finally able to set up the new computer...a 17" Mac Book Pro which I adore and got all the software on both machines upgraded and everything networked, which has been so much fun to do...so many new possibilities!

I also have new jewelry up my sleeve, and it will be up soon as Valentines Day is right around the corner and there has been oodles of new press, but I have yet to update the press page, so you'll have to wait for that!

OK, now back to work for me, as it never really does end, does it?
