I keep adding blogs to my daily reads and blog roll and daily reads and yet I forget to give them a shout out along the way...naughty me.  Here are a few of my newest additions...

Blogroll Love…

I am adding a few new blogs to my daily reads list today, I have stumbled upon over the past week or so and think they’re just swell.

Oh happy day
The focus has been parties + pretty things, but as the author, Jordan Ferney and her family have *just* moved to Paris for a year, I think this blog is going to reach new levels soon. I realized last year that I love travel writing, so the combination of designer/travel writer is just too delicious for words in my book.

Miss Malaprop
I actually started reading Mallory’s blog back in 2006 when it first began and have always loved her curative skills as well as her eye for the indie.

Make Something Happy
The blog for Rock Scissor Paper, a stationary company that I have adored since waaaay back in the day…and by waaay back, I think I first bought their cards in 1999 or 2000. The site fell off my radar for a bit as I had accumulated too many cards and wasn’t sending out enough to justify buying more, but as I am trying to remedy that I decided the blog should be front and center, so I can make sure to see what they are up too.

I have been incredibly immersed in work this week and therefore rather appreciative of those around me with the same mentality.   Here are the posts that I enjoyed the most and I hope you do too...

The nest is in full effect today with all this wind...imagine a curlier version of above, hahaha.  I somehow managed not to blow away yet but its supposed to rain and I may have to use an umbrella.  It makes me think to back to my days at Syracuse where chances were pretty good that if you dared to open an umbrella, it would flip inside out.  On the rare occasions that the umbrella stayed strong and managed not to invert, there were some seriously close calls when my feet lifted off the ground!

This is what I did when I saw this photo over on etc... and then again when I discovered Garance Dore's blog (which has been added to the blogroll!).  Especially pertinent as an Illustrator friend of mine is looking for where to go next and this uber creative maven was feeling the same way when she started her blog...Whitney pay attention to this and go read her about page!

I read a great deal of blogs everyday...well I peruse a great deal anyway...and this week I thought I would share a few of the highlights of what I read...

My new obsession is the blog Crafting an MBA, which I consider blog-crack and I wait with baited antisipation everyday for a new post. Today's guest post is perfection on a topic dear to my heart: go local - tips for finding support in your community

...etc is an outstanding source for eye candy Wednesday's post did not disappoint: 346

I love reading Hula Seventy, specifically a project the author, Andrea is working on this year where she posts a list every week: list eight: guiltiest pleasures is delightful!

Emersonmade's blog did indeed bring: Sunshine on A Cloudy Day on a dreary Monday (also my birthday!) this week.

Mrs. French was the guest blogger over at SF Girl By Bay today and brought with her oodles of: blissful inspiration!

Last but not least, From Betsy with Love had a post on Florence & The Machine whom I also am loving these days...yay!
