Hey There! My name is Sierra Bailey...very nice to meet you. I am the 34 year old designer behind the jewelry label Manic Trout, the dog mother of a sassy Rat Terrier named Faye and a resident of Austin, Texas.

In an ideal world, I would eat candy for every meal and be able to function on five hours of sleep a night so I could spend more time in my studio!

Not too long ago, I realized that I was using my blog in place of what used to be my sketch book.  That made me really happy.  I had been so disappointed in myself for abandoning something that was such a part of me and that I adored so much, but now I see that really it had just evolved.  Even better, now I can share it.

Thank you for the stopping by and reading a glimpse of my life.  I love to share what inspires me, the behind the scenes of running and growing Manic Trout and the fun adventures that I seem to be constantly getting into!
