My bug collection before the new addition

This morning I posted a photo of my giraffe planter on Instagram (which is fed to my tumblr blog if you don't use Instagram). Last week I bought a vintage brass grasshopper to add to my collection of bugs. Today I looked around and realized that I have a few pewter and brass sea creatures, a ceramic pig (I made that one), a fish bowl filled to the brim with rubber ducks, another bowl of rubber sea creatures and thats just what I can see from my desk.  Well there's no question here why I started designing animal jewelry now is there?
