Do you ever see something, read something or hear something that makes you think, sigh and utter "hmmmm, that is just so very, very true." And then think that you could have saved so many hours of wasted heartache if you just realized that ten minutes in? Oh well, we live, we learn...we try again.
Great.
This comes from the false attribution when one believes “of course I am great (whatever), great (whatevers) do x,y,z…and I do all of those!”
This is creating the definition, of love in your example, based upon yourself. It makes a mature person to realize that people are not all like you, and this more than okay it is amazing!
I normally do not do this although I wrote a blog post about this pertaining to leadership
These thoughts push people into either/or choices forgetting about the wonderfulness that stems from poly-ocular view of love, relationship, friendships and leadership.
