The girls and I were feeling a bit stir crazy in the studio and now that we are right smack dab in the middle of the village, we had the urge to get out for a bit. I have actually been toying with the idea of photographing some jewelry on us in various places...and that was how Manic Trout Out & About was born.
Every Wednesday we will take a bag of jewelry to a local haunt and snap some pics as we take in in the place. Today's Out & About adventure brought us to in Millbrook where we enjoyed a divine snack and my favorite coffee around!
Any suggestions of where you think we should go next week?
My sister Holly does, thats who! Holly decided this past year after teaching in Philly that she wanted to make an even greater impact on helping the world become a better place. She moved to Austin, Texas and has started a non profit center called .
Mission Statement
Your Mothers House aims to create opportunities, remove limits, and provide choices for members of the local community who are looking for ways to creatively express themselves while reaching out into their local community. We will accomplish this by creating a center of exchange between community members for creative talents, community outreach, and redemption for volunteered time from our hunger relief center and use of facilities.
I am so proud of what my little sister is doing, please go check out the site...she has just put it together to provide more info that it does! If you live in Austin, please consider helping out in some way.
