I woke up this morning to a text from my assistant asking if I would pretty please make black bean soup again today...

I realized later as I was serving big bowls of steaming soup for my assistant and intern that I had stumbled upon a rather pleasant fall ritual here at Manic Trout! I have been making warm and yummy meals in the late afternoons to eat with the girls...we take a break from the studio, gather in the kitchen and discuss studio news, upcoming projects, boys, makeup, hair...you name it...its wonderfully girly and fantastic and energizes us for great productivity!
