My Name is Ms. Bailey and I will be your teacher this week…

Actually, I hated Ms. Bailey and had them call me Sierra...I started my annual week long class at Millbrook School today. I went to school there, Gilly & Holly went there, and Thea is there now and its a great week that started today with a field trip to local antique and junk shops...including The Bottle Shop, which is my favorite place to shop...ever. We gathered out of the box supplies to make into jewelry for the next four days..it was pretty fun!

I discovered a bunch of whimsical vintage supplies to play with and am hoping to make some great one of a kind pieces that you'll see here I'm sure...But on a fun note, I also bought a few things for myself and wanted to share...

The first was a kicky little fuchsia faux alligator clutch:

I removed the chain handle...I prefer clutches without the strap...and took off the little chain accent and added a sassy little fox...

I also found two adorable half aprons, that I want to see, and as I already have an embroidered apron that I love, I now have a collection and needed something to hold them...so I nailed clothes pins to the pantry shelves (really tough to do, btw!) and clipped the aprons up...swoon!
