I would 100% choose this:

The outline is borrowed from Wyoming Libraries and I of course turned it Manic Trout pink...I wish Pantone would name this hue after Manic Trout...I've always thought it would be so cool to name colors...although I guess its like naming jewelry...and I cheat and use song names...which I put an inane amount of time into choosing...hey, its a random fact!

Anyway...I will explain why...I read a lot, I have thousands of books around my apartment and reading book spines on shelves soothes me...I used to find myself wandering the stacks in bookstores in college when I was stressed...I finally figured it out one day and have bookshelves next to wherever I go to relax so I can gaze at the spines...and I have a growing collection of girly books, which rock, they range from Bettie Page to Playboy 50 yrs. of Photos to My Naked Ex Girlfriends (a fantastic book btw!) I would forever be immortalized as a girl book girl...without having to be in a girly book ;)

I feel somehow more complete now...

Between being in the Prom Magazines and then all of the talk that followed about Prom Dresses, I have large amounts of flowing fabrics on the brain...plus there is my love of tulle...anyway, I do have a point...and its that I saw these photos from the November 08 issue of Vogue Germany and I love the dresses in them...

I have been trying to get a good "ear model" so earrings can be photographed on, without being in someone's ear and I finally found one I like...one of teh ones I tried had a miniature head...I still have no idea why anyone would want it to begin with...it was tiny! Anyway, I now will be able to give you a much better idea of scale with the earrings...although she is still on the smaller side...but for now will work!

Model...we'll call her Elle...is wearing the Mera Treasure Island Earrings

The Vegas trip that I was oh so excited about earlier this week in this post is in the planning stages, and I am trying to figure out who's going, dates, prices and some of the details...there are 5 of us so far involved and I am going to move the rest of the planning to a private forum...so if you want in, we are going at the end of March, during the week for 2-3 nights...contact me in some manner...woo hoo!!!!

As you may have noticed, Faye tends to pose for photos, so I thought I would have her model the stunning Trish Hampton Leash & Collar set I bought her for Spring...I prefer the ribbon decorated collars and I insist on a 6' leash, as I let her meander on walks and this set is perfect...you can find you own at Molly & Max!

Sometimes it takes a while for things to sink in when I have so much going on, and I am basically just now processing a few things from December...one of which is that Your Prom magazine featured one of my necklaces in their 2009 issue. When I went and bought the issue, I was flipping through it and stopped to swoon over the prettiest dress I have ever seen, and then I realized that the model was also wearing my necklace, and I was so happy! I then noticed that there was twice as much text describing my necklace than the dress, and then I was even happier...

I found the perfect outfit for my purple tights tonight and as just about every person I saw at work tonight told me they thought so too, I figured I'd share here as well. Hopefully I'll think of this post when I get dressed in the morning, putting on my winter "uniform"...I can remember of how easy it was to dress a bit nicer then that...and I may be acting like a major girl here...but I always feel a bit more on my A game when I feel good about my appearance that day...so anyway...my outfit for work on Feb. 20...

I took this when I got home and therefore can enjoy the fact that the look on my face is the..."if I have to wear 4" heels for one more minute, I am going to cry...seriously" one.  My favorite part is that the shoes match the tights which makes my 5'2" self look longer!  I know, I know, I'm such a dork...

I turn 32 in about 5 weeks, and I want to go to Vegas...I have never been...although I have been all over Nevada, so how this is possible, I have no idea. I want to make a big deal out of the trip as I am badly in need of a vacation, and hey, you only turn 32 once, right?  I want to go with a group of people that I will have a blast with...so who's up for it? I plan on staying at the Bellagio...simply over my love of the glass art that is there which I want to see as much as possible...and when I go, I go big...so if you want to go along with the little group I am gathering, or meet up with us there, let me know!

Prove it!

So I got to thinking that I often speak here of fun outfits, clothes bought and how I dress up for work...well I decided to share with you what I wore to the restaurant tonight...on Valentines Day...which is the two days of the year when I let the holiday colors be my inspiration (the other being St. Pattys...but I wear both bright green and fuchsia on a regular basis so that may be why). That was the best run on sentence I have ever written! Anyway...here is what it looked like:

I have become a huge fan of the photography by Irene Suchocki and have been looking for the perfect excuse to use this photo in a post and what better day then Valentines Day? I already have two of her photos on my new wall and know that I will collect more, as each time I see her stuff I want, NEED her work in my home, wonderfully inspiring to me! Enjoy the Love!
