I am once again heavily influenced by the 50′s and 60′s, specifically the fashion and the art. My new line is a nod to these eras with the materials, colors and styles that I used. I am loving all the vintage lucite that I have been tracking down and really like mixing it with glass , creating big and bright necklaces that stand out and call attention. So I have been trying for the past year or so to make the final decision regarding my web design and digital services. I have finally come to the conclusion that I will no longer advertise the computer side of Manic Trout. I will still perform these services if requested and I really am excited about the project, but not often. Manic Trout is now specifically focused on Jewelry and Paintings and the web site has slowly been evolving to only promote these items. Any questions or comments are of course welcome.

So I spent the summer months trolling for special somethings to add to my fall and winter line this year. I fell in love with vintage lucite beads, big ones! I have started creating necklaces combining these precious babies with glass beads and satin ribbon. I love them, so girly and sassy!

speaking of awesome vintage finds…I also have slowly obtained a serious stash of vintage ball buttons for my famed rings. Many of them are one of a kind, so I really have to let you dig through the bowl to find your new best friend, which is rather hard to do on line and makes those that can visit my studio really lucky.
